- Install WordPress and WooCommerce. Install WordPress, then add the WooCommerce plugin and run its setup wizard (store address, currency set to PKR, product types).
- Choose a theme. Pick a lightweight, mobile-friendly theme. If your customers read Urdu, check that it supports right-to-left text.
- Add products. Write clear titles, add sharp photos, set prices in PKR and add accurate stock and weight so shipping works later.
- Set up shipping and payments. Decide on flat or zone rates, then enable the payment methods you will actually offer, such as cash on delivery.
- Create your policy pages. Publish returns, delivery times and contact details before you take the first order.
- Place a test order. Order as a customer, check the emails, and confirm the cart, checkout and account pages behave correctly.
- Take a backup before you launch. Store the first working version safely so you can always go back to it.
Published guides vs. product features. Guides below are general information and work on any host. Qila Cloud features that are not live yet are marked Coming Soon.
- Turn it on deliberately. Enable COD in WooCommerce payment settings and write clear checkout text about what the customer pays on delivery.
- Confirm orders before dispatch. A quick WhatsApp or phone confirmation filters out fake and mistaken orders.
- Reduce returns. Show real product photos, accurate sizes and delivery times. Many returns come from mismatched expectations.
- Track every parcel. Keep the courier tracking number against each order and update the customer.
- Reconcile payments. Match the cash your courier remits against delivered orders so nothing is missed.
- Consider adding online payment. Offering JazzCash or Easypaisa gives customers a choice and reduces cash-handling risk.
- Compare what matters. Coverage of your customers' cities, delivery time, COD support, return handling and how quickly COD money is paid out.
- Open a business or merchant account. Contact each courier's business team; you will usually need your business details and CNIC.
- Test with a few parcels. Ship a handful of orders with each courier before committing your whole volume.
- Connect it to your store. Some couriers offer a dashboard or API and some have WooCommerce plugins. Choose the simplest option that fits your order volume.
- Keep customers informed. Send the tracking number as soon as the parcel is booked.
- Review monthly. Check delivery success and return rates and adjust.
- Prepare your documents. Typically your CNIC and business details; registered businesses may need additional documents.
- Apply as a merchant. Apply through JazzCash's official merchant channel and follow their verification steps.
- Receive your integration details. After approval you receive credentials used to connect your store.
- Connect and test. Use their test environment first, then place a small live order to confirm funds arrive.
- Plan for reconciliation. Know how and when settlements reach your bank account.
